I'm addicted to ROOSTERS!!!

Thanks Cuda......
We did catch the little BOOGER yesterday and had my son hold him and feed him some corn - he gobbled that up real fast - perhaps we should do that every day!

I would probably kee[p a roo or two but I want too keep the peace with the neighbors since some animals are a gray area in the county ordinances here. It' zoned as open rural but if people actually went by the code you would need about 3 acres to comply. So it's one of those things where the county said...it's not enforced unless they get complaints. I hear roos crowing all over when i'm outside at night.

the other day a friend of mine came to see the new place and we were driving down the road to the river and two really cool banty roos were walking across the road into the woods. I guess someone just didnt want them and dropped them off. I wanted to grab em really bad but i cant

I love to hear them crowing also, as long as they are not mean, they can hang around. If they get nasty, they have to go. I had one attacking my little girl last summer, was fine with me, but would fly up at her with his spurs and she was only 3. He went to my friends house, she has no little kids.

Of course, I also love to hear my 3 donkeys braying!! Well, two bray, the other just huffs a little!! If my neighbors can put up with that, roosters are nothing!!!

Both bring a smile to my face everytime I hear them and yep, I can tell whose who by their crow or bray.
