I'm afraid this is a rooster.

So we got our chicks from Cal Ranch and they were all labeled as pullets. However, I'm starting to think "she" might be a "he." They are about 4.5 weeks old and this one is much lighter in color than the other BR in our flock.


The comb below looks pretty pink.

I'm leaning towards rooster as pullets don't generally have pink combs at this age. But you still have a pretty high chance of getting a girl Would you let me know what you think about my chick please? (Go to my profile; it's under Boy or Girl??)

Based off of feather color (females are darker, males are light) and comb size/color, I think that "it" is a rooster.

I think rooster as well. Those wattles look a bit bigger than what would be on a pullet around the age that one looks...
