My Lady Bird has been pretty healthy, laying just fine (just started laying beautiful blue eggs last week). She's a bit of the coop bully, but that's nothing new.

Ok, now she's got this look to her back feathers that looks like my old rex-rat's fur looked. It's almost like her feathers are curly or something:

Is this something bad like mange or something?

Yes, I have five chickens, no roo.

They may be pecking each other. My Cuckoo Maran has a bloody tail area right now, and I saw them picking her. And the dominant one was picking at the Ameracauna too. So maybe that's it. I might have to put a cabbage in there or something. THey may be bored. I put wound kote on Dolley (the CM).

Yes, that is picking. In my birds, the feathers that are rubbed by a rooster do not look like that.
