Im a first timer too! We have 23 lil chickies, and just finished our coop and outdoor run today...we just used hex wire for the whole run, but we live in town, and there isnt much of a dangerous predator threat..at least not during the day. At night they will be in the coop, locked up safe and sound! I think that you will find this site amazing and so helpful! I know I have. These forums are great cause any time you have a question, someone will be there to answer it for you! Good luck with your gals, and would love to see pics!
