I'm back again with the same bleeding hen.................

About a week ago i posted a thread about a hen bleeding near the vent....... When i thought she was better i put her back. After a couple of days we left and the were picking on her again i put blukote on her and left thinking she would be ok. When i get back the are still pecking her and she still lays eggs with blood on them.... I have located the wound it is not that bad this time but what should i do to prevent it from getting bad!

Too bad the Blukote did not work. You probably need to take her out each time you notice any blood. I suppose you could try putting distractions like treat boxes in the run filled with greens or heads of cabbage for them to pick on, but blood is such a trigger for pecking.
