Gosh, what a horrible experience. Was your house okay? Galveston is just devestated. I feel horrible for those people who lost everything BUT their lives. Glad you are okay.

yes things are fine and lifes gone back to normal except that i no longer have a bedroom window and we lost a few roof shingles but we were fortunate. the funny thing is the shed and coop we built were untouched.but houstons strong were healing well and no most of my neighbors didnt evacuate most of us stayed edited for spelling

* Good to hear you and yours are o.k., Kesta. The few pics we've seen from Galveston are horrifying. Bad, too, that there just isn't the kind of coverage there should be---. Seems that the election and the bank debacle is getting the majority of the attention. Seen more news on BBC than our own.
