Hello chicken loving friends! I'm back after more years than I can remember. Can't remember my login so started fresh.
We live in So Cal and previously hatched 5 eggs (bought the eggs on ebay) that we thoroughly enjoyed. They were so sweet and fun, and great layers. They laid/layed? blue and green eggs that were so pretty!
We've been considering getting more over the last few years and the price of eggs has sealed the deal. So excited! We've still got all of our supplies so we're just deciding the breed(s) for more eggs. We need quiet(ish) and heat tolerant and are thinking of Buff Orpington's and Ameraucana's or Easter Eggers.
I forget more than I remember so I'm excited to re-learn the ropes with all of you!
