I'm bringing my chicks into SCHOOL!!! AAAHHH!!!

I didn't mean ALL teenagers! I hope I didn't offend you.

I have adult friends in their 30's and 40's that I wouldn't want holding my baby chicks.

I know what you meant.

Hey, guess I'm around your age.

I personally would be WAY too scared for my chicks in a class for a WHOLE DAY, but that may be me being over-protective. I'd bring in an adult bird, maybe, or have my parents bring them just for that class then bring them home. If you do decide to bring them in, be careful and show proper chick etiquette.

I hope my teachers will let me blow other classes so that I can be there when everyone's holding them. Maybe I'll make something up about how they need me to be there because they have imprinted on me or something...

That's exactly what I was thinking. And who wouldn't try to get out of their classes to be with the adorable fuzzbutts???

Yeah, I'm a little selfish, though.

I think my teachers might believe me if I say that for some reason, I have to be there all the time.

I think that if you just set it up with your teacher ahead of time, then your plans should work out just fine! What a great opportunity! If any of your teachers give you a hard time, just show them the babies....even the most strict teacher would melt at the sight!

Think I could work chicks into a lesson for 10th grade English? LOL!

Good luck with THAT! I had to have an excuse to bring them in, so my biology teacher said that she could make something up so the principal would allow it.

It's stupid. Most of the kids in my class would make remarks about bringing their ketchup. Stupid, disgusting vultures!

I probably wouldn't even bring them in, now that I think about it. No one in that classroom, not counting the teacher, is any smarter than a brick. It's not even that they'd ask simple chicken-related questions, but they are just not intellegent. Most of them aren't even remotely college-bound.

It's sad. I know it's not learning the 'fun way' whatever way that is, but who wouldn't benifit from holding some peeping fuzzy things? I would think it's more enjoyable than copying down notes from a powerpoint, eh?
