Im chickenless

Well, as many of you know, I just joined 2 days ago, and im already chickenless. My last chicken of the 4 we bought when I was in about 2nd grade passed away.

That's a very long time, a great long life for a laying hen! You must have really taken very good care of your chickens.
I'm sorry she passed away.

:aww so sorry......glad you had so long with her........

Thanks, we lost two to animals and two to regular deaths. This was her year alone in the cold, so we put up fencing in the nice warm basement for her with a ton of shavings and daily treats, so im sure she died warm, fat and happy.

Sorry about your loss. I lost one of mine on New Year's, but I hadn't had Ariel nearly as long as you and Clementine were together.
