My broiler chicks are 18 days today. One minute they are all healthy, feeding and drinking, suddenly they just go crazy, squaking noise whilst wing beating. They then flip over their back and death occurs instantly.
Anyone aware what could be the problem.

Do you have any pictures of the chicks and their brooder? A short video that you could post to YouTube and share the link here perhaps?

What are you feeding them, and how much?

What does their poop look like?

Are they a rapid growing hybrid, like a Cornish cross?

Is that all of them at one time or a few spread out? If it is all of them at one time that sounds like poisoning, I can't think of anything else that would affect them that way. The question is what kind of poison.

Are they in an enclosure where a gas could collect and kill them? Probably some heavier than air gas that collects down low.

Was the water contaminated with some chemical? Did you perhaps clean the water bowl with some type of cleaner and not rinse it well?

Same type of questions about the food. Could it have been contaminated with some chemical.
