I'm Crying!!

Yes, cedar is toxic. Don't think it was your fault he passed away. You've learned an important lesson and now will probably be able to successfully raise more chicks! Good luck. Sorry about your little baby.

My vet said that cedar chips are toxic and fatal to chicks. I'm so sorry for your loss. Don't blame yourself. You and your future chicks will be that much better. We all learn so don't beat yourself up.

I want to thank all you guys for the support, I'm glad I'm not the only one who morns over a chickens death(crys more like it). Anyways I'm definatly not going to beat myself up anymore and I'll be getting some eggs to hatch or chicks soon. I am interested in silkie's, Easter eggers and cochins if anybody has any babies or eggs. Thanks Guys!
