I actually crossed a Diesel (black orp) on White Orp pullets in the hopes of creating a new White Orp line by breeding the black out. I ran into two problems. First, my whites didn't produces ANY white in their offspring from the first cross. Second, about half the chicks were cuckoo. There is very very faint ghost barring in the white hens. They passed it on and crossed with the black they come out cuckoo.

I believe someone here may have some in the works soon.

I think it's neat that so many people are working on such amazing projects. Way to go everyone! I could see in the future a backyard flock of blue, black, splash, white, buff, red, lavender, cuckoo, mottled, jubilee, and chocolate Orps. You could call it the rainbow flock.

ETA colors. Thanks Charlie!
