Poultry keeping has all ways been a popular past time but with more knowledge available its really become very popular now! Especially in Essex I know someone who has chickens or know someone who knows someone who has chickens. 1 of my cousins have free range chickens and 1 of my other cousins is just starting to look into chickens. The lady that grooms my dog has chickens and my neighbour opposite me has ducks.
Here in Essex their is also a regular local poultry auction held every year. Their is are also quite a number of suppliers around here to choose from. I guess its a pretty popular past time ^^
Beekeeping is something else that is now gaining popularity also!
