I'm getting goats!! What can you tell me about them?

I am getting my first goats this weekend!! Can you tell me about them? I am getting a 1 and 2 yr old does and also a buck. They are Saanens

Well, one thing we can tell you is that a buck will not smell good at all. They pee on their faces to attract their "girlfriends". Do you know if the girls have been bred and "expecting"? You definitely should get enough milk with the two girls for your family and then some. Post pics when you get them please!!

The bucks are stinky, but thats all part of the *charm* of the goats!! LMAO. I personally, don't mind the buck smell. But there are those that won't visit the barn while the boys are in rut! They surely are *smelling good* for those that appreciate the buck smell. I love my boys, stinky or not. They really do work hard to get that perfume all over themselves.
