I'm getting more buff orps! I have a question.

I talked to a friend of mine yesterday and she will be bringing me some buff orps. 1 rooster, 3 hens, and a pullet. I have 2 bo pullets right now as well. I am excited about this. We just love the orps. I think our favorites are the speckled sussex and the orps that we have. Just wanted to share. She said the rooster is very nice and well behaved. That is a plus for us with our two small boys.

Does anyone know how buff orp roos compare in size to speckled sussex or black orp roos? My SS roo is very large and I have a black orp cockerel (Diesel) who is larger than my year old nhr and faverolle hens and he is only 19 wks. I am just curious to know how big this Buff Orp roo will be.

I've got a buff that hatched about the same time as my blues and he's good sized, but not as big as the blues.

I have heard that the blacks get bigger than the blues. I can't wait to see this guy. You people have ruined me. I am an orp nut now.
