Im gonna cry!

My neighbors dog got loose and come in my yard i didnt think much about it but he scared my game roosters so i went down there the dog took of my neighbor has like 40 chickens!There almost all dead i saved his duck a little hen was in the dogs mouth and i got her and through her in with my bantam he liked her!Then he killed a bunch and drug their bodys down into the woods! I sat there holding his duck i had to listen to hen and roosters scream in pain while being eaten and i could do nothing about it when it was all over a black rooster came running out trotting like a horse slowly and the dog tackled him my dad got there before me! The dog ran of i was carying a duck in my hands the rooster was going down the drive way i changed his course into my yard the dog was right behind him! I scooped him up him in 1 hand and a duck in the other i carryed them up to my house the duck is in the duck coop my ducks like her and the rooster is in a round pen!I could not save the others they where all dead! Then i heard one more hen screaming and running behind his house. Then i heard gun shots and everything is over! Now im at my house! This was terriable i saved as manny as i could!

The ones i saved has some feathers plucked i think they will be ok they are kinda in shock but ok.

I have counted 23 dead chicken bodies out through the woods.

geuss what i want for my birth day a 22 the neighbor shot him but if i had a 22 i could have saved all there lives.

thats really kind that you did that, and that stupid dog had that comming. Hope you feel better and get that .22 you want.

The neighbor just got home i ran down there to talk to him i feel bad his kids was attached to them chickens.

That stupid dog just plays with the chicken until they die he dont even eat them i kinda understand for a predator to kill for food but not for fun another down side is that dog is gonna let all the predators feast and get hooked on chickens.But by then i will have my .22

I feel so sad to hear all them hens and roosters scream in pain and i could do nothing about it hey do you think maggots could form when its 56 high and 32low there small wounds they could heal with no attention at all i just want to know if i have to worry about maggots?

Who shot the dog, your dad? because I thought the owner of the chickens shot them?

Are there flys buzzing around in your area?? or is it to cold for them to be out?

So sorry for everything. Sorry for you, your neighbor, the poor birds that were systematically destroyed. A terrible situation for all involved.
