I'm guessing this is a Roo...

I got 3 week old EE's back in July... one now looks like this... I'm guessing it's a Roo... I do have a crowing amoung my group of 5 chickens... I'm guessing this is the guy crowing...

This is what he looked like at 4 weeks or so...

at 4 weeks you can tell the little one in front is a roo by how red his comb was back then

the way his hackles have developed is the main give away they are slinder and pointed. at this age he should also have saddle feathers coming in

those are some mega hackle feathers going on. that irridecent green tail is another giveaway.

i do not go by the irradecent green on any bird as i have hens that have that coloring all over.
