: Whoo glad I checked this posting.....Okay I'm going to have to go find me another sacrificial bird!!!!! God blessed us so much that we don't have a turkey for Thanksgiving from our original flock of over 50 birds!!!!! Whew gotta keep some of those purty boys for Christmas.....2 gone for then but maybe I'll get one.....


So here's the menu so far

Homemade sourdough bread....(yup we got the starter from the air)
Homemade butter and honey from the hives
Roasted Goose (sorry board, I had 3 boys and 1 girl in my "keeper" hatchout)
Guinea gumbo
Green beans from garden
rice stuffing (fabulous)
Vegetarian lasagne (with homemade cheeses)

(Okay more soup for you.....Do you think you'll be up to cream of kale or do you want more chicken soup
Desserts ....ok not planned there

Various canned condiments....pickled okra, etc., etc.
Barbeque

I have no other clues. Hubby used to be a chef and loves to cook. Much to be thankful for this year.


OOOHHHHHH....Please come and bring me eggs y'all......I'm on incubator withdrawal and I have a Thanksgiving weekend birthday....hint hint hint.....Speckled's egg move down on Thursday night so we'll have a little party moving them down. I will not tell you how old I am, I will not tell....

I'm desiring the following eggs,,,,,,silkies (don't tell hubby he'll flip), wheatan marans, blue marans, ooooo silver sussex and okay whoever is hiding my Coronation Sussex (bring them on)

Okay if you don't have eggs, mesquite wood for the barbeque,,,,,Happy Mountain, a simple mantle for the fireplace, but most of all wouldn't I love to see a BYC'er drop in...... I'd probably really really really laugh!!!

Okay you are invited, but if you're spending the night, please bring a pillow and sleeping bag,,,,It's a small house, but there's room on the porch! and on the floor in front of the wood burning stove if you claim it soon enough.

Oh yes and just any eggs will do for the incubator.....I'm not that picky!!!!! I'm dragging down the incubators from the attic.....

I'd call the newspaper, but our newspaper died about 2 years ago....sigh....well ,,,,,the Atlanta Journal is still here....I'll call as we get closer to time!!!
