I'm hearing things...... right?

My 4 NN eggs are on day 21 with no pips. I see them shift every now and then so I'm trying to be patient.But I swear I just heard a "peep". Have I been driven insane from 3 weeks of waiting or is it possible they chirp and you hear it?

did it sound muffled?? If it did it is very likely that it was a chick if not then it was probably you imagination!

It was pretty quiet that is why I wasn't sure.The incubator was open because I was adding h2o for humidity at the time.

I just hatched chicks on day 22/23 so hang in there. If you decide to try and pop'm (not my suggestion) just put a tiny air hole then wait another 24 hrs then at least they get a chance to absorb the intra-egg stuff, plus they need to get used to our air.

They certainly start peeping before they hatch. You probably did hear it. Congrats! If all goes well, you're within 48 hours of a hatch.

It is like this wiggle, is one day away from peeping, peeping is one day away from pip hole, pip hole is one day away from hatching.
