Hi ChickCharmer--hey you're only about 10 miles away! Nice to meet you!! You probably already know--quite a few coyotes have been spotted in our area so keep your girls safe
Welcome! I'm from Rural Valley, PA. Just 23 miles north west of from Indiana. Although we had some chickens almost 20 years ago, I have forgotten a lot and this is our first time with chicks/ducklings so I'm just learning also.
Hey yous! I am right outside of Philadelphia in Montgomery County, yay to escape the wage-tax! I haven't any chickens yet though, still looking for somewhere local to get them next spring, any ideas? I only need 2-3. Thanks, nice meeting yous.

Hi Prize--you might want to give Moyer's Chicks in Quakertown a call if you're looking for standard, reliable, nothing fancy brown egg layers. If you call ahead you can reserve the 18 week pullets unless you want to start with chicks. We got our 4 girls there and they've been awesome, plus their beaks are trimmed and they have their vaccinations already. Welcome and good luck!!
