We live outside of Mayfield....hubs went to school in Symsonia. I'm from TN. We currently have a mix of chickens--rhode island reds, black ostelorpe (?), red sexlinks...a white little fancy banny who is a new momma *ha*. We usually let her set a couple eggs a year. She is th best setter by al means. I actually love her eggs as they are my size since I don't eat a whole lot of food ..lol
This weekend we go pick up a new flock of babies....Welsummers. We will be rotating out the current flock in the spring once the newbies start laying

I do it as well Just whatever you do, don't spell Ameraucana with an I in it. (Americana)

My pronunciation is way worse then my spelling for all these breeds.

I had Cochin totally wrong
