Im just to excited about being able to hatch out ducklings this spring again i have already set up my brooder for this year! and im going to set up my incubator tonight! anyone else this excited!!!?!?!?!? I love incubating eggs and getting babies!!! this year i think i am going to hatch out some buff orpington ducklings, chinese goslings, and probably toulouse goslings as well...So what is everyone else going to hatch out in the spring? Do you have any pics from last years hatch? Lets see them!

I would realy like to hatch some ducks ths coming yesr. Im new to ducks this year but have learned quite a bit here on BYC. I have put the hint out to Santa (DH) so hopefully he takes the hints...they have been big and often.
I have a mixture of ducks so if I do hatch any out I will have Runners , Pekin x Magpie and Pekin/Swedish x Magpie.

Awww so sweet. I'm planning to use a broody buff orpington hen to hatch out some blue runners this coming spring. Has anyone else used a broody chicken before?

I think they're due around the 16th of December - they have only just started the incubation period... very excited! Never had runners before. I was told by the lady who gave them to me that they were brown and white, so I'm thinking she means fawn and white runners. Going to be a long 4 weeks!
