Hello all....im new to chickens. Ive always wanted them and now i have the property to do it! We were not planning on having them this year though. We were goung to build the coop this year and get them next year. But fate decided differently! Lol. There were 2 young chucks roaming the neighborhood. No one knows where they came from. I was afraid they would get hurt...so we decided to take them. They are luving in the garage until we get the coop built. Which should hopefully be this weekend! Anyways....i dont know much about them...i think they are both hens..maybe 5-6wks old is my guess. Can someone please tell me what they think they are..i dont know the breed either. Thanks!

I guess chickens were meant to be in your life! So great you could take them in. They are adorable!

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! Good luck with your instant flock! X2 they look like some sort of red sex link like the Golden Comet really nice find, they have different names from different hatcheries, Red Star, ISA Brown etc.
