I have done nothing but care for them since they were yellow, I washed their little butts off when they had poo on them

When a few of them got sick….I made them well

They NEVER run out of clean water or FOOD

They always have a clean coop

They free range from 4 pm til bed time every DAY!!!!

They each have names

They get the good parts of my watermelons and whatever else

and what do I get in return NOTHING!!!!!!

For several weeks now they all have RED wattles and combs they are 24 weeks old they should now be GIVING something back to me return for all my care and devotion to their every whim!

I was hoping by now the feelings would be receptacle but I guess NOT …..I am telling you if they do not put out soon….someone will go to the chopping block!

They sing that dang song but their just messing with me they do the whole little submissive sit crap but still I get NOTHING>>>grrrrrrrrr all 8 of my girls are doing this to me.

Provide them with oyster shell and wait another month or so. So chickens don't start laying for 28 or 29 weeks (sometimes) .

I will try the oyster shells.grrrrr!

they have plenty of light but my yard is MOSTLY shade.

My first hens started laying at just about 20 weeks. My second batch made me wait until about 26 weeks. I understand the wait. Hopefully you will find some eggs soon. Any chance of a hidden nest?

Calcium(oyster shell) or layer feed doesn't have any impact on ovulation. Calcium replaces medullary bone once laying commences.
Protein has a bigger impact on ovulation. Increasing day length has the biggest impact.

Let me say, Ok scream.... About darn time!!!! Very happy to proclaim one girl did it!!!!!
