ty all, I got a question...My chicken JUST started laying, First egg on thanksgiving day....She wont sit on it...How do I make her?

Hens lay eggs just about every day, they only "sit" on their eggs when they go broody.

Welcome to BYC! Unfortunately a hen only becomes broody when she decides to, there is no making her do it. Good luck to you.
