Is this an effective brooder for 10-15 chicks or should I make another?

That's what I have our 8 chicks in now but I'm guessing with as much as they have grown just in the last few days they will outgrow it fast. But I'm new to this as well and don't know where to move them

New also.......but I read somewhere on here someone suggested going to Lowes/HD or some store like that and seeing if they would donate an appliance box for you to use. Haven't needed to myself, but it's a thought!

I am using washer and dryer boxes. Framed the ends with 2x4 for strength and mended them together with a stapler...works great.

I'm using that same set-up for my 5 chicks but the appliance box is an awesome idea. The more space the better.

10 or 15??? wow, they'll out grow that FAST, they'll just about double in size each of the first few weeks, 4 weeks is about what it takes to completely feather out and you can move them out of the brooder pretty much after that.

the appliance box idea is indeed a great suggestion.
