I'm new here.....

I just joined this forum tonight & look forward to learning and sharing ideas!

I have raised chickens on a small scale for about 25 years. I live in middle Tennessee and currently have 16 barred rocks. They are my favorite breed--they are the calmest, sweetest birds! and they don't fly out of the run!

I attached an avatar, so hope it shows up -- I had a little fun with the last batch of chicks I received!

Thanks! My friends think I have too much time on my hands....maybe they are right....but you'd be surprised how many of them want a copy of my photo. It makes a great baby card! LOL

I just love barred rocks! They've always been my favorites and for some reason the breed I usually have the hardest time coming by! My two are just 4 wks old! Love em and would love to have buff rocks! and blue rocks and you know.............. any way, welcome!
