My flock is 4 weeks old. My Easter Eggers hens are still very skittish. Is this normal? Any advice on how to make them glad to see me coming?

Hi and

It's totally normal for your flock to be skittish when they are younger. If they are in a brooder that is on the floor, one reason they could be skittish is because when they are approached from above it reminds them of a flying predator. Just try to handle them a lot so they get used to having you around. However, treats are probably the most surefire way to get them used to you. That will definitely make them look forward to seeing you!
