Hello Courtney and welcome to BYC! I'm just over your southern border and yes I hear from others the predator problem increases the farther north you go. I hope you have as much fun here as we do.

Oh yes! there are really bad, between raccoons, coyotes, bears, fox, possum, hawk are huge here! when it comes to hawks watch out for chickens as well as small dogs!
