So I just joined today. I have a decent sized flock. I have 6 adult chickens. 2 roosters and 4 hens.
T-Rex, Gold Laced Wyandotte, the Alpha Male
Firework- Barred Rock and Beta male
Hawkeye- Gold Laced Wyandotte hen
Lollipop- Barred Rock hen
Munchkin- Asian Black hen
Diamond- Asian Black hen
2 weeks ago today we got 12 more chicks and unfortunately only one passed away which is pretty good considering we got 12. I don't think the guy that worked at Thiesen's knew much about chickens because I did not get the breeds I asked for. He grabbed 4 chicks of each that looked the same. I asked for 4 Delawares and got 4 Delawares. I asked for 4 Olive Eggers and I got 3 Majesty Marans and 1 Sapphire Olive Eggers. Lastly, I asked for 4 Americanas and I got 4 little yellow chicks that I haven't figured out the breed yet.
Anyways I am glad I am here to get to know more tips and tricks and to laugh along with your fun stories.

Welcome! Cute pic! I just started my chicken adventure. I have 17 chicks that hatched on 6/1/2020. My almost 13-year-old son is helping to raise this flock as he wants to sell the extra eggs to family, friends and neighbors. 🐥
