Hello!
I am new to raising chickens this year. I live in Oklahoma, and my family had chickens when I was growing up, but they were bantams basically for eating bugs, and were almost wild.
I think the pandemic this year made me see that we wanted to be more self sufficient! We built a coop in May and bought some older laying hens, and also bought some babies to raise. I have found this site to be really informative.
