Hi, I'm new to BackYard Chickens! My husband and I are trying to get a permit for the flock we're acquiring from some friends who are moving. We're going to get a handful of birds, and coop. The general consensus is that the city requires chicken permit holders to belong to a club or group. So here I am! I'm excited to be a part of this community.
