I have 1 Cuckoo Marans Rooster with 9 Hens, 3 Cuckoo Marans, 3 Barred Rock, and 3 Black Star

We're looking at giving 3-4 of the hens away, just for space considerations, but we'll see once they begin laying at the end of this week or next.

I have 9 Golden Comets & love my girls. We go on cricket safaris in the evenings. I just have to turn over lumber boards or cinder blocks & say "Crickets"... they come running! No roosters.
