I've seen quite a few people mention chicks are selling quickly this year. Have you checked with your local TSC to see when they may have some available (or when more are coming in)? You can also check the Buy-Sell-Trade forum and maybe you'll find some close by your location: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forums/chicks-1-day-to-8-weeks-old.53/

Hi Greg! I hope you find some good, reputable places to get some chicks! I have had good luck ordering from hatcheries and our feed supply stores.

This site will definitely be more than happy to answer your specific questions if they arise, so don't hesitate to ask.

Welcome to the forum. Check out the learning center articles, they are very helpful. Also, please think hard about if you really want chickens, or just eggs. Owning chickens can be fun and very rewarding for it's own sake, but those eggs are not cheap.I hope you do, chickens are great, but also work, and heartbreak sometimes. You are off to a great start joining here, anyway.
