My birds love watermelon, bits of wheat bread, and scrambled eggs! They come running as fast as they can. It is so cute.
X2 on the watermelon. My birds have always loved the innards and seeds that we scrape out of the pumpkins.

Today we had a crazy storm!! We were so worried about our chickens!! Trying to get them in the coop was quite the challenge!!
It seems like the month for storms! It keeps storming for a few minutes here and than getting sunny again. Its the craziest weather!

. Can anyone tell me by looking if this Silkie is a hen?
This appears to be a rooster. The comb and wattles are too large for a hens and the neck and tail feathers are more like that of a roosters as well.
