HI All:
I've got my first flock!!!
There are
4 Speckled Sussex
4 Ameracuana
2 Sex Linked Red Hampshires
The picture shows nine (the ten one is currently stuffing her face with chick starter). We had them for about a week. Currently, the brooder is in my bathroom. There is a heat lamp (we just removed it to take the picture). They are the most fascinating creatures!
We're slowly naming them. Elizabeth is the largest and most active. Thelma and Louise are buff colored, Daisy is light tan with dots on her head. Penelope is a little darker than Daisy and Patty is a little darker than Penelope.

Your chicks look beautiful. Good luck with them. They are very fascinating as you say I can spend ages just watching mine, mesmerising I find them. Enjoy your new babies.
