I'm new too

I'm a stay at home mother of 4 in rural Tenn. My story began when my father-in-law offered me a small job tending to some of the simpler tasks on his farm. I primarily take care of small cattle, chickens, & ducks. It didn't take long before I knew that I loved it, too much! A few years & lots of hard learned lessons later, I've won some & lost some. But I've recently added my own Welsh Harlequins & can't seem to learn or do enough with/for them. I've become the crazy duck lady. Your site/family has brought me through times that others just shook their heads at.

Thank you Wickedchicken6! You were Johnny on the spot w/ this when I 1st joined and I have reviewed it several times☺️ Still, I appreciate your eye for seeing someone saying they are new and being so quick to post this demo to help. I know it makes everyone feel a little better by just having this to refer to.... Thanks again!

Hello there! I'm from West Tn, a little area around Bradford. I will surely give that a look! Thanks for the insight! And the warm welcome, of course.

@memphis @Ravynscroft stop by and say hi to our new neighbor. West TN has a thread, but from what I understand, most of them hang out in middle TN. Memphis can explain why...

I sincerely LOL when I read this. No one here understands my "thing" with these ducks. I'm not so sure I do. So, indeed, it's a relief to be in good company!

As you talk about your birds, "Normal People" roll their eyes and just don't get it.... Rest assured they are NOT normal. We ARE! I would have never thought that birds would get under my skin, but once they do you're well on your way. Then there's the whole "I don't have enough" syndrome and trust me we're called enablers for a reason.:lau
