I'm new!

I'm new to chick ownership. I have recently got 14 chicks. I don't know the breed or sex of them but 5 are yellow and 9 are black and white.

too young, when they are 6-8 weeks old please post photos at "what breed or gender is this." By then they will be feathered out and show some signs of gender.

As you have already received links to some great starting points, I will just wish you and your little ones all the best. They are adorable!

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out
