(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes, very new. Not even one month in. We built our own coop over 3 months and have about 30 sqm of aviary enclosed run in a rural, though suburban, township area.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
9 hens. Bought over 3 weeks. 3-3-3.
(3) What breeds do you have?
In order of acquisition: Spangled Hamburg, 2x BantamX, 3x brown Shaver, Golden Laced Wyandotte, New Hampshire Red, Silver Laced Barnevelder.
(4) What are your favourite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I have my own zoo!! Totally enjoy watching them. A long dream to have. The eggs are a great bonus!

Film, sewing.
