Hi all! My name is Michelle. My family & I are new to chicken farming...only been about 7 months or so. We moved back to OK from NV last year. We bought 20 acres that already had 4 hens, 2 roosters & 1 male guinea living here. We are having a blast learning about them, watching & talking to them. Thanks for letting us be part of the forum - we have so much to learn.
As far as breeds, I have bought a book to see all the breeds - and of course a couple "Chickens for dummies" type books. I love reading all the posts here though.
