Hi, I'm a newbie to the group and to owning chickens -- have had my 5 girls for last 4 months or so. Really enjoy them but want to learn more how to care for them and and to the brood as time goes on.

I know someone would ask before I could be reminded. I have 3 that are all different breeds and two of the same, and I can't remember! I will find out!

I believe I have two wynadottes, a silkie, a beautiful americauna and a very petite little red girl that I can't place yet. I'll have to confirm these but think that's right. They were given to me from friends who couldn't keep them any longer. I have lots of land for them and love having them here.
