Hello all! I am somewhat new to chickens. I had them growing up. I got my own flock started almost a year ago. 1 silkie hen, 6 bantam cochin hens and 1 bantam cochin roo. I have been doing all sorts of researching on this site and decided to join. I just received a dozen bantam cochin smooth/frizzle eggs in the mail, hoping for a decent hatch rate. Fingers crossed. Also throwing in some eggs out of my own hens. Any advice is welcome!
