Im not allowed at the feed store anymore...

LMAO, houses take time to build... I might have to side with your hubby on this one! I can't imagine having 6 ducks inside for 6 months, they are messy creatures!
no, we have an acre and half now, they will be outside lol sorry, should have been more clear, we are upgrading. Mama needs more space

I am susurprised my hubby trusts me to go by myself, he knows I want ducks lol!

hahaha Im about to be untrusted, at least until we get the house set up on the land. My acre is quickly filling up and I literally a few weeks ago upgraded to a bigger coop

now I asked if I can have the barn out on the land hahahah its about 50x40 so you can imagine how easy and fun that would be to fill up

My wife wont let me get that much land, we have 3.5 acres and when i started my garden, 10 rows 50 ft long, first year and it just kept getting bigger each year until the only place that wasn't planted was the house,so i don't think she will go along with me getting more land, 6 weeks ago i started with 20 Barred Rocks, 2 weeks later i got 10 Red Sex Links and a couple days after that, i got 5 more Red Sex Link and 5 Black Australorp's, then came the need of coop and pen to keep them in. On the bright side, I don't have to go get the horse feed and chicken feed because i am banned from the feed store also, if i go, I'm bringing something besides feed home.

It's chicken math! We are truly blessed to have all the land, a large portion of it is leased to a cattle owner and we will continue with that lease, we will farm and graze a large portion of it, build the house and then here and there we will have the coops and garden. I want to open a pumpkin patch! We are still in the preliminary phase so everything is tentative and I have just been running with it, there is so much we can do with it all. Once we get on the land I will have about 100 chickens, which chicken math will come into play and I will end up with 500 haha

With the wild weather so many of us have been having, that seems like a very sensible approach! Seriously.

you're tellin me!!! We had tornadoes all over the place a few weeks back, this past storm didn't get us but the first one was brutal!

First of all, let me say, your ducks are adorable! Second of all, let me say, I know nothing about ducks- just wanted to say how cute they were. :)
