Hiya, and a belated welcome to BYC!! :frow

Sorry, I'm no good at this as I only raise silkies so unless DNA, I do the 4-5 month wait to find out. I know you didn't want to make another post, but you'd probably get more help if you posted in the What Breed or Gender forum. Good luck!

Hi! I been on BYC for a few months now, but I guess I never introduced myself so here I go!

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

I got my first 8 Sagitta hens in April 2019

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

44 and counting 🙃

(3) What breeds do you have?

Cochin, silkies, mutts, Australorp, Orpington, NHR, SLW, BLRW, Salmon favorolle, OE, EE, Americana, and more!

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

My favorite part of my day is letting them out in the morning, and I love letting my hens hatch babies!

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

Goats, fish, crocheting, and training dogs!

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

I have 5 dogs, a cat, 2 ferrets, a ton of fish, 2 goats. I love fostering dogs and currently have one named Ginger!

My flock is a carrier of coryza, but they live happily and haven't had symptoms in almost 6 months!

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D

I found it looking for info on sick chicks!
Welcome! :welcome
