You can get Liquid bird vitamins at walmart in the pet section for less than $3.00

YOU CAN ALSO BUY 100 WATT YELLOW BUG LIGHTS
SO THAT YOU DO NOT ATTRACT BUGS MOSQUITOS.
THEY PUT OFF QUITE A BIT OF HEAT.

good luck

You really need to stay on top of their care.

They need the warm draft free place above 75 degrees for a while longer or you will continue to see illness and problems in the chicks.

You can get some avia charge or other type vitamin mixes to put in their water to make sure they are getting all the vitamins and minerals they need.

You can even take some organic yogurt and mix it with their chick starter for a good probitoic source to help strengthen their natural immunities.

I suggest you boil some eggs and mash it shell and all, mix it with some cooked white rice and mix in some yogurt with a bit of their chick starter feed and give them a really good boost in their diet over the next week.

Keep them warm.

The Warm advice is wonderful-Little ones need it.
My year old birds like it too!
We bought one of those ceramic lamps for the coop-it is over the top roost.
Some cuddle right under it and others prefer to be further away from it -but they have the choice. We hooked it up to a remote so we can control it from the house.

I like the remote light idea! and as for the yogurt, I did get some of that when she started to look a little down and sprinkled some feed on top of it. She seems much better today, running around and scratching in their pen outside. It was nice here today...about 80 degrees, so they had a good day outside. She's perked up quite a bit, so I'm going to continue with all that we've been doing.

I'm going to go look for the chicky vitamins so that everyone stays healthy.

Thanks everyone!

You are not suppose to give vitamins to chicks when they are on medicated feed containing Amprolium. Amprolium blocks the B vitamins which Coccidiosis need to thrive, so giving vitamins only messes things up. Chicken Health Handbook and Vet say so. As soon as they are off the medicated feed you can give them vitamins for 1 week straight and then 2 or 3 days a week.

Thanks for that tip too. So much to learn!

If anyone ever needs help with horses...I'm there for you!!!!

Peeper is doing better today as well. Running around and enjoying the sunshine. Still giving her the Vet Rx for colds, just in case.
