Im not sure why my duck has “wet feather”

I have duck feed from buckerfields. They have access to water buckets, drinkers, a pond and a large feed pan to swim in. It has poured for a good month here. 370mm in January and still going strong.

As for mites and lice I was told I would see them and to google what to look for and so I did. I spent a lot of time going over him, bathing him in case it was his oil gland and then blow drying him to get him dry after being cleaned. I picked up ivermectin today after getting directions from an agriculture group. Wish me luck. :) I was told for a grown duck, 8 drops, 2 back of neck two under each wing and two by the vent.
if you wash with soap it makes it way worse

i hope the weather dries up that sounds awefull

My ducks get buckerfields duck food and whatever they find in my yard. I have Cayugas and Swedish ducks. I have not had them long enough for a molt yet. I don't know when to expect one, I thought fall. Who knows though. As far as I know poops are normal, They are going all over the yard as I got these guys for backyard tick control as it has been a crazy spring so far. I will take your advice on adding more protein too. I also bought vitamins, electrolyte powder and am also mixing diatomaceous earth in the hut and food. The hut has been limed new tractor spot and fresh bedding today.

Your doing all you can. I was for some reason thinking you were talking about Muscovy. They are really prone to wet feather because they aren't that water repellent to begin with.
Hopefully with a good molt and all the rest your doing he'll be showing big signs of improvement soon. We have had a lot of rain and I noticed yesterday my geese are looking soggy. They are due to molt late spring.
