I'm sad. Hubby said "You crow... you go!"

I would have cried and made his life miserable. You should have cooked HIS rooster and went out and got a new one.

i would no long have a husband if he ever dared to do that. we both may have our favorites but whichever one is the best gene choice will be the one to stay. not to mention having more respect for one another than that.

Louie is so cute! It sounds like he's going to have a great life, though, I wouldn't feel too bad.

That is unfortunate you had to give him up, though. It always saddens me to rehome, though I only have to do it very rarely.

That is absolutely terrible! I could never put up with that kind of behavior. Your poor rooster.

Should I ever get married, it would never be to anyone who would dare harm any of my animals!

Well when the priest said, 'for better or worse.......until death do you part,' I really didn't imagine that my highschool sweetheart who stood there in front of both of our families and married me, would ever kill my rooster. And we weren't even fighting. I would understand a little if we had been argueing and it was getting passionate and he needed to do something drastic, but everything was fine. I think he just needs to have the final say sometimes, but on that particular day I let him have the final say, but saved it up for a later time. Bon appetite moi cher.
