i think i found out whats wrong with my chick it might have curled toes
hmm.png

but u can fix it with cardboard and tape

I had leg problems with my first hatch, and had to cull two as they wouldn't fix. Not saying that you'll have the same, but be prepared. Raising chicks is amazing but can be hard, too.

aw man i dont think i could handle culling a chick or letting my father do it but if hes in pain or unfixerble then i suppose he'll have to be culled

Me too. You can buy a chick dispatcher which looks like a cross between scissors and pliers. It is quick, works, and you don't even have to look. I have pulled two necks this year and last night had to cull a half hatched gosling due to massive deformity. Not nice, I just suffocated it, it was already dying.

I couldn't ever make myself cull anything! I would try my hardest to save it - even if it was in pain I don't think I could do it. But that's just me.
