I have 8 guinea fowl eggs which are due to go into lockdown on July3; all are developing and I will candle again just before lockdown. I will keep everyone posted here!
I think I'm going to either just throw the eggs I stuck in there a few days ago away, or put them under a broody hen. Once I get them out of the incubator I won't have to open it.
The 8 chicken eggs aren't the great. They are just from my own flock. But it take awhile to get 6 quail eggs from 1 female.
I just opened te 5 button eggs and all of them were rotten!
All of them had something in them, but it looked like they had died around day 10 or something. So the eggs I was going to put under a broody hen can now stay in the incubator! So hopefully the 6 new button eggs and the 8 chicken eggs will have a better hatch. So today is day 4 for the new batch! The chicken eggs are due: Jully 12th. And the buttons are due: Jully 7th.
