well i got a 90% hatch rate i got up this morning to 1 egg ziped half way around the egg and he wasnt moving so i took the egg out and taped his beak and nothing.....so i started peelin away shell and.........yeah he was dead

darn i wish i helped them last night

buuut i wasnt taking eny chances with the other egg so i got peeling stright away and he was alive

Guess what I woke up and found in the incubator this morning??? I found 3 baby buttons!!!! WEEEEEEEEEE!! One was already out of it's shell and was ontop of the chicken eggs, and then another one had just kicked his way out of the shell! I brought them inside and put them in a brooder. Then I got back out there and there is nother empty shell so I go ... hummmm .. so I get to looking around and at the very back of the incubator is another button! I'm so happy!

The other 3 eggs are hatching, too. I'm going to wait a few hours and then help them out.

Okay, I have one button that looks like his mom, one that looks like his dad and one that looks like his mom & dad! LOl He is yellow and then his bottom half is black! lol

Okay! Here are the pictures!! Can you sex buttons by their color?

This is the black one. He has some orange stripes on his back. He looks just like his daddy! Can you sex them by their color? My mom wants to know. She says: "Oh, look that ones a male cause he looks like his daddy!" I just wanted to ask!

This is the black and yellow one. He just hatched so he's kinda wet still, I'll get better pictures of them when they all get nice and fluffy!

That's sooooo cute.....Shouldn't you have left them in the incubator to dry off? Too late now, they'll probably dry off in the brooder. They look so tiny!!!!!! I don't know if you can autosex them......... do you have any pictures of their parents? OMG they're too cute.....I WANT ONE!!!!!!

Maybe you can autosex them...... ask the person who wrote the sex linked information or the person who sold them to you.....I don't know if you can though..........the quails are very cute, though!!!!
